Do you use integrations in your business?

If you're not using automations and integrations in your business, now's the time to start.

There are lots of tools that can do this job for you, but our favourite here at m3 Networks is Zapier.

With Zapier, you can remove around 40% of your repeat tasks without having to worry about them again other than maintaining them.

Automations and integrations can help with everything from email responses to social media posting, and in this episode, Mark Riddell will be explaining how the team behind the Techcess podcast are using them.

How Zapier works

Zapier is a tool that allows users to connect different web applications together.

For example, you could use Zapier to automatically save new Instagram photos to a Dropbox folder, or to automatically send an email notification every time a new blog post is published.

To create a Zap, you first select the two web applications that you want to connect.

You can then choose the specific actions that you want to occur between those applications.

For example, in the Instagram-Dropbox example, you might choose to automatically save any new Instagram photos as PDFs in a specific Dropbox folder.

Zapier offers a wide range of pre-made "zaps" that you can use, or you can create your own zaps by customizing the actions that occur between your chosen applications.

Excerpt from episode (download transcript)

"I've just recently had to take out a paid subscription because we have a number of Zaps now that takes us over the free limit, but it's not really that expensive either to think it's about 20 bucks per month or something like that. So the basis of setting up a app is basically to start with an app. So which app do you want to take data from or you want to do something with?"
